Nate Harasim
- "Next In Line"

ARTIST BIO:
It all started 19 years ago when Nate had his first piano lesson from a lady named Ms. Elizabeth Bump. Being from a very musical family Nate had dreams of playing in front of the masses. With that dream in mind he practiced and excelled, so much in fact he was transferred to the Flint Institute of Music where he would be under more of a curriculum like instruction. After receiving many scholarships and awards, Nate wanted to join the jazz band then under the instruction of Denis Langworthy. He entered a whole new realm and took in everything he could.

At sixteen Nate took the best players out of the jazz band and formed a group named MoJazz. This group played straight ahead jazz and went on to open and play with Norman Brown, Pamela Williams, Roy Ayers, Tom Braxton and many others. After highschool Nate tried to keep the band together but they went their separate ways and Nate joined the Navy. Initially Nate jumped out of helicopters for a living as a rescue swimmer. After learning about the Naval School of Music, he auditioned and was excepted......excited and ready to further his knowledge of the piano, Nate packed his bags and began his higher education.

After his enlistment Nate still had the dream and began to compose, arrange and produce his own music in a small and we mean small apartment outside of Detroit. While working on his project he decided he needed to move to a new location and seek an endorsee deal with Yamaha. San Diego had been where Nate was stationed and it was his second home. After moving Nate hit the scene and met up with Mitch Manker and James East shortly after receiving his Yamaha contract. These two people proved significant in Nates future and they started doing sessions. Low and behold a year or two later Next In Line was born and the race to the top began. Next In Line was arranged, written, produced and engineered by Nate.
